Course duration & Arrival Info
While the full A License program can be completed in as little as 8 days, we strongly recommend allowing 10–14 days to ensure you have time for:
✅ Weather delays (we only jump when it’s safe)
✅ Rest and recovery
✅ A little extra time to enjoy Western Australia!
📅 Weekly Schedule
AFF Training Days: Wednesday to Sunday
Monday & Tuesday: Closed — unless we have two or more students booked
Start Time for New Students: 9:00am sharp on Wednesday
On closed days, no skydiving or accommodation is available — but it’s the perfect time to explore some of the hidden gems of WA!
The AFF course generally takes 5 days, followed by 3 days for your 10 additional jumps to complete your A Licence. Some students may finish sooner, but we recommend planning for at least 10 days on-site, ideally 2 weeks.
I recently had an amazing experience at The Skydive School and I can’t recommend them enough! Instructors Darragh Flynn and Paul Morton are incredibly professional and knowledgeable. They provide excellent education on the sport of skydiving and take the time to impart additional knowledge that goes beyond the course material.
Throughout the course, they promote independence while ensuring sufficient oversight and supervision. Their encouragement and detailed debriefs after every jump are invaluable for continual improvement. Thanks to Darragh and Paul, I feel confident and safe while participating in the exhilarating sport of skydiving.
A special mention to Rod, the pilot, who is also very professional. He pilots the plane safely each time and ensures our jumps are smooth sailing.

Travel Tips for Singaporean Skydive Students
Visa: Apply online for an ETA visa (usually processed within 24 hours).
Getting here: Fly to Perth, then drive to Darkan, WA (approx. 2.5 hours).
Food: Bring groceries, snacks etc. We also visit local bars and cafes.
What to pack: Casual clothes (Warm clothing for Winter), towel, toiletries, and a sense of adventure!

Do I need prior experience?
Nope! This course is designed for complete beginners.
Is the A licence valid internationally?
Yes – it’s issued by the Australian Parachute Federation and recognised worldwide.
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely! They can do a tandem jump while you’re training – or just relax and soak in the vibes.
What if the weather isn’t great?
We build rest days into the plan and offer flexible jump schedules.
