Fly With Friends: $5,610 AUD for the full AFF course plus 5 coached B-Rel and 5 sport skydives (20 jumps, 15 with an instructor) and the canopy handling course required for your A Licence. Just want to learn to fly solo? The full 10-stage AFF course is $3,635 AUD, accommodation included. Book online with a $750 deposit and pay the balance when you arrive. Maximum 4 students per course, 95 kg weight limit. Food and transfers not included. All current prices: skydive prices page.
Course duration & Arrival Info
The A Licence is performance-based, and most students need 20 to 25 jumps to reach it. We strongly recommend allowing 10 to 14 days on site to ensure you have time for:

AFF Training Days: Wednesday to Sunday
Monday & Tuesday: Closed. We also close for a Christmas break: Monday 21 December to Tuesday 5 January, back Wednesday 6 January
Coming as a group of 4 or more? If you want to complete the Fly With Friends package together (what most students choose to prepare for their internationally recognised A Licence), we will consider opening on Mondays and Tuesdays. Email us directly at bookings@theskydiveschool.com
Start Time for New Students: 9:00am sharp on Wednesday
On closed days, no skydiving or accommodation is available, but it’s the perfect time to explore some of the hidden gems of WA!
The AFF course takes 5 days (Wednesday to Sunday). After that you keep jumping toward your A Licence: most students need 20 to 25 jumps in total, so plan for at least 10 days on site, ideally 2 weeks.
I recently had an amazing experience at The Skydive School and I can’t recommend them enough! Instructors Darragh Flynn and Paul Morton are incredibly professional and knowledgeable. They provide excellent education on the sport of skydiving and take the time to impart additional knowledge that goes beyond the course material.
Throughout the course, they promote independence while ensuring sufficient oversight and supervision. Their encouragement and detailed debriefs after every jump are invaluable for continual improvement. Thanks to Darragh and Paul, I feel confident and safe while participating in the exhilarating sport of skydiving.
A special mention to Rod, the pilot, who is also very professional. He pilots the plane safely each time and ensures our jumps are smooth sailing.

Travel Tips for Singaporean Skydive Students
Visa: Singapore passport holders need an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) to visit Australia. Check the Australian Department of Home Affairs website for how to apply before you book flights.
Getting here: Fly to Perth, then drive to Darkan, WA (just over 2 hours).
Food: Bring groceries, snacks etc. We also visit local bars and cafes.
What to pack: Casual clothes (Warm clothing for Winter), towel, toiletries, and a sense of adventure!

Do I need prior experience?
Nope! This course is designed for complete beginners.
Is the A licence valid internationally?
Yes – it’s issued by the Australian Parachute Federation and recognised worldwide.
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely! They can do a tandem jump while you’re training – or just relax and soak in the vibes.
What if the weather isn’t great?
We build rest days into the plan and offer flexible jump schedules. If the weather stops you finishing your AFF stages, we schedule the remaining jumps at no extra cost.
