Where can I go skydiving in Western Australia?
At The Skydive School, Hillman Farm Airport in Darkan WA, Western Australia's only fully dedicated learn-to-skydive dropzone and the only full skydiving training facility open year-round.

- Pay a $750 deposit: pick your start week and enter each student's details. The balance is paid on arrival.
- We confirm: we email you to confirm your booking. Courses start Wednesday at 9am, max 4 students.
Weather: if it's unsafe to jump, we reschedule you or refund you. No-shows: if you don't turn up and don't tell us, your booking is forfeited.

About 2 hours from Perth and 1 hour from Bunbury, at Hillman Farm Airport in Darkan WA. It's a scenic drive through the Wheatbelt, and most people make a day of it.

How much does a tandem skydive cost in WA?
A tandem skydive is $399 from 8,000ft (20 seconds of freefall) or $489 from 14,000ft (60 seconds). Add a Handicam for $179 or Deluxe video and photos for $289. Book a tandem online.
How do I book a skydive online?
Choose a tandem or an AFF course, pick your date, and enter each jumper's name, weight, height, phone and email. AFF courses take a $750 deposit at booking, with the balance paid on arrival. We email you to confirm. Start with a tandem or book a course.
How much does it cost to learn to skydive in WA?
The full 10-stage AFF course is $3,635: 5 days (Wednesday to Sunday) including ground school, all 10 AFF skydives, gear hire, APF student membership, packing lessons and on-site accommodation. You can also start with Tandem AFF (Stage 1) at $949 or the AFF Starter at $2,190. The A-Licence isn't included, and Fly With Friends (from $5,610) is the best preparation. See all courses.
Can you skydive year-round in Western Australia?
Yes. The Skydive School is the only full skydiving training facility in WA open year-round. We jump Wednesday to Sunday, and our inland location at Darkan avoids the coastal sea breezes that ground other dropzones.
Do I need experience to do a tandem skydive?
No. You're harnessed to a fully qualified APF-certified instructor for the whole jump, and your pre-jump briefing takes about 20 minutes.
What are the age and weight limits?
Tandem skydivers must be 16 or older (under 18s need parental consent) and weigh up to 100 kg. The learn-to-skydive (AFF) limit is 95 kg. If you're close to a limit, call us before you book.
How long does it take to get a skydiving licence?
The APF A-Licence is performance-based, not a set number of jumps, and the Australian Parachute Federation sets the requirements. The AFF course takes 5 days, and most of our students reach their A-Licence within 20 to 25 jumps.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If it's unsafe to skydive, we stay on the ground and reschedule you or refund you. If you don't turn up and don't tell us, your booking is forfeited, so please call if your plans change.
