1We aren't a "tandem factory"

If our goal were simply to get rich, we wouldn't be in Darkan. We'd set up shop in a high-volume tourist hotspot and churn through jumps like a conveyor belt. But that's not who we are.

The Skydive School is exactly that: a school. We're a full training facility deeply ingrained in the sport, at Hillman Farm, Australia's longest continuously running dropzone. Our instructors are fiercely passionate athletes who genuinely love sharing the sky. Here, you experience the sport in its purest form.

2A skydiving "training heaven"

Darkan offers wide-open airspace, incredibly safe landing areas and the kind of uncrowded, pristine skies that skydivers dream about.

When you aren't competing with heavy commercial air traffic, the entire experience changes. The ride to altitude is scenic, relaxed and focused entirely on you and the jump ahead.

3Treated like a skydiver, not cargo

At a commercial tandem centre, you're a passenger. At a dedicated training facility, you're welcomed into the community.

When you walk into our hangar, you'll mingle with solo AFF students learning the ropes, seasoned jumpers packing their rigs and instructors debriefing epic jumps. By the time you gear up, you don't feel like a tourist, you feel like part of the crew.
