Skydive A Licence and Above:

Why the Mock State Champs?
We decided to build an event that brings everyone together, to get those whoâve focused solo on their own progression, back into team environments and events, aiming to get them jumping a little more with newer skydivers.
Building the whole community up together – we are too small, not too.
The WA Mock State Championships is designed to:
Provide a non-intimidating comp experience for newer skydivers
Â
Support the collective growth of our sport, through shared time, guidance, and coaching
Help jumpers understand how competitive judging works and how competition in skydiving is fun
Offer structured coaching to sharpen skills before States and Nationals
And most of all: bring the WA skydiving family together
Itâs a stepping stone. A no-pressure way to refine your flying, build team experience, and feel part of something bigger.
Whatâs Happening Over the Weekend?
The event runs September 5â7 at The Skydive School and includes:
2-Way VFS
4-Way FS
2-Way Belly
Speed Skydiving
Thereâll be coaching, catered meals, music and the chance to observe live judging to demystify how scoring actually works.
Why It Matters for the Future
This isnât a one-off.
The Mock States are part of a bigger push to rebuild competitive culture in WA, from grassroots jumpers to high-end Ninjas chasing their next big challenge.
We want to:
Get more WA jumpers participating in state and national comps
Give coaches a platform to grow and pass on knowledge
Create events that matter, not just another boogie
And most importantly: keep WA skydiving alive and thriving, growing together.
How You Can Get Involved
Got a teammate? Register your team.
No team? Weâll help you find one.
Want to come watch, support, or volunteer? Youâre more than welcome.
Whether you’re flying, coaching, judging, crewing, or just cheering from the packing mat, your presence makes this event stronger.

Letâs fly together.
